Course Description

In order to understand and recognize the risk factors connected with keratoconus as well as to study the various treatment options, Dr. Kamiar Mireskandari will guide learners through key features of the condition. He'll review methods of detection—with a focus on early detection—to improve patient outcomes.

Dr. Mireskandari will walk learners through a few patient cases, reviewing a number of approaches to treatment such as mini scleral lenses. The corneal collagen cross-linking procedure will also be a key treatment discussed at length.
